Welcome to St. James Anglican Church, also known as The Red Church. It is one of the most photographed and painted churches in the country, but it is much more than a building. The Church is actually the people who gather there to worship, a living organism dedicated to serving our Lord Jesus Christ and all who come for comfort, consolation and assistance. When you visit St. James, please take the time to fill out a pew card and give it to the usher before you leave.

St. James is part of the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin. Its current rector is The Rev. Fr. Wofgang E. Krismanits and the deacon is the Rev. Mary G. Swann.
Our Purpose: To be a church where God's Word is faithfully preached, eagerly learned, and joyfully and powerfully lived. We believe that God has called us to be a beacon of light and hope to the lost in our community, nation and the world, lifting high the Cross of Jesus that all might be drawn to Him and come to eternal life. We pray that God will accomplish this in us and through us by empowering us in His Spirit and challenging every member to be a minister.

Our Mission: To Know Christ, To Grow in Christ, To Serve Christ and To Share Christ.
